In the Atlantic basin this Monday morning, a tropical wave is located about 600 miles east of the southern Windward Islands, moving west at 15 to 20 mph. No significant development of this system is expected, but showers and gusty winds could affect the southern Windward Islands during the next few days. Meanwhile, no tropical cyclone development is expected over the eastern North Pacific basin for the next 48 hours.
